Weekly Challenge #119: "Ebony and Ivory"

This weeks challenge is Ebony and Ivory.  Rick and Maria had a post on this too.  I found this one a challenge indeed.  I am half happy with my entry.  The Quare turned out well along with the beads, but the Waft did not have the effect I was going for.

Weekly Challenge #118: "UMT v. XVI - Kuke"

This weeks challenge is a Use My Tangle.  This week the tangle is Kuke by Katy Abbot, CZT.  I know Kuke was inspired by a cucumber slice, but it reminds me of the Chineese Baoding Balls that my brother gave me one year for Christmas.

Weekly Challenge #117: "New Official Tangle: Schway"

This weeks challenge is to use the new official tangle Schway.  This was indeed a challenge for me.  I had a hard time working with this tangle.  I wouldn't call it good, but I took a stab at it and this was what I came up with.

Weekly Challenge #116: "Blind Sighted"

This weeks challenge is using a blind string.  This one is difficult for me as I like structure and I am a bit of a perfectionist about my art.  So I drew the border, then put my pencil on a edge and closed my eyes and scribbled a string.   I hope you like it.

I used the following tangles: 'Nzeppel, Antidots, Purk, and Cyra.

My string was lame, but I made the best out of it I could.  I always forget it is supposed to be a guide and not a rule.  So this time I made myself go outside of the lines a bit to make it make sense to me.  I made a copy of my string so I could scan it later.  I had to retrace the string so the scanner could pick it up.
