Joey #219 Challenge

I thought I would try a Joey Challenge this week.  It is a Finish My Tangle (FMT) front and center challenge.  This week Joey chose Poke Root as the starting tangle.

I used a square tile and the following additional tangles: Poke Leaf, Triads, Roxi, Fission, and Pop-Cloud.

Starting with Poke Root I had to go organic with this tile. I hope you like it!

Diva's Challenge #364 2

The Diva’s Weekly Challenge this week is a monotangle of Carole Ohl’s Puf.  A monotangle is a term for using only one tangle and it’s tangleations in a single tile.

This one was a good practice for me as I have not used Puf enough.  I went with an open string with white space.  I used a lot of shading on this one to make it puf out as much as I could.

Like it?  Thanks for stoping by!  Don’t forget to check out the rest of the monotangles of Puf on the Diva’s website!

Diva’s Weekly Challenge #364

The Diva’s challenge this week was to remake your favorite challenge.  My favorite challenge was the Diva's Weekly Challenge #113: String Theory v. XXIV "Hip to be Square".

Here is my old tile from 2013:
I used Hibred, Ving, and Z-Trik.

Here is my new tile for 2018:
I used Hibred, Ta-da, and Z-Trik.

I think it turned out OK.  It is darker than I hoped.  I hope the ZenButton of it showed.  This was a fun challenge!  Be sure to check the Diva’s site!

Thanks for visiting!

Diva Challenge #363 Laura's Auras

This week, the Diva challenges us to aura.  Auras are simple ways to enhance tangles by adding new lines inside or outside that match what you are tangling.

I chose Dewd for the center tangle as I really like the look of this tangle.  Not sure if I like my version of it.  It may take more practice. I think I created too much space inside of it.  It might of looked better if I kept the branches tighter together.

I chose Garlic Cloves as the top tangle.  I really like this one and how it came out.  I will be using this tangle more often.  =)

I chose Endo for the bottom tangle with a mix of Cruffles mixed in. Now I think it may be too busy.  But I had fun drawing it.

What do you think?

Thanks for stoping by and don’t forget to check out the rest of Laura’s Auras on the Diva’s Site!

The Diva’s Weekly Challenge #362

This weeks challenge is an UMT (Use My Tangle). The first Monday of each month is a Use My Tangle challenge where the tangle we use is brought to us by ONE of us. Since it is Laura’s birthday month, we are using hers! All of the challenges in May will be either Laura’s tangles, or some of her favourite challenges and tangles.

The UMT tangle for this challenge is Somnee.  I tried to pick a tangle that would compliment Somnee, so I picked Pixioze.  It has many auras like Somnee.  I think they go together nicely.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Diva’s Challenge #361 Amanda Day

This weeks challenge is an Amanda day (Earth day) challenge.  So that means try to use some recycled material for your child. I also used a full sunshine string.

So I gave it a shot, even used three of my own tangles: Pozer, Waft, and Phen. I also used the following tangles: Pinbawl, Meer, Waves, Golven, Counterpoint, and  Ping.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Here is my tile.

I used the back of a tissue box.

Diva’s Challenge #360 Duotangle Shattuck vs Tripoli

This week’s challenge was fun for me.  I wanted to combine the two tangles together somehow. This took a couple of tries to get things going as I wanted.  I tried to make the Tripoli triangles float over the page.  Did it work?  Thanks for viewing my entry this week.  =)
