Weekly Challenge #115: "Amanda Day - or Earth Day"

This week's challenge is our Mother Earth and whatever that means to you.  However you'd like to interpret that.  To me that means using organic tangles.  I just love organic tangles!

I used the following tangles: Brax, Flowervine, Dooleedo, Antidots, and  Aura-Leah.

Weekly Challenge #114: "You with the Stars in your Eyes - Stars v 2.0"

This weeks challenge is to use stars!  Whatever that means to you. Whatever goes...hmmm.  This one took me a while, mostly because I started a new job and am so busy learning new stuff.  This was a good de-stresser.  =)  Thanks for the awesome challenge!

Awesome fun!

Weekly Challenge #112: UMT v. XV "Tuxedo"

The first Monday of the month is a UMT challenge (Use My Tangle).  This time it is by  LeeAnn, a.k.a Ledenzer.  The tangle is called Tuxedo.  (Click the name to see instructions.)

This tangle allows for many different ways of decorating it.  I think it is a very versatile tangle.

Weekly Challenge #111: "More-Mooka-Madness Monotangle-Mania"

The challenge this week is to use ONLY Mooka!  Mooka is a one string kind of tangle that you make pods without lifting the pen.  I like it more with flux type ends, so I tried to keep mine that way.  I discovered I like Mooka more than I thought and will use it more now that I am getting the hang of it.

Weekly Challenge #110: "Get rid of the box"

So the Diva's challenge this week was to go outside your comfort zone.  Since I always tangle on paper, I decided to use a different medium.  I chose a pretty flat stone I found while walking my sweet yorkie Corey at the park.  I have always been drawn to pretty stones and smooth ones are even nicer.  I also decided to only use one of my own tangles.  I usually pick only tangles I have found on tanglepatterns.com or in one of the Zentangle books.   I named this tangle Plop.  It is made up of two teardrops drawn in a diagonally divided square.

So here is my try at get rid of the box:

Weekly Challenge #109: "Zentangle Quest"

This weeks challenge the Diva used Maria Thomas's new "string container".

From the Diva's site:
"A few weeks ago, Maria Thomas posted a really neat blog post about a new technique or method of using tangles.  You can read about the technique and the photo that inspired it here. "

Here is my attempt:
